As a victim, you have no official status in the disciplinary proceedings. It is the University, as an employer, who prosecutes the defendant. For this reason, you do not need legal representation. You may be present throughout the proceedings and if you do wish to be represented, you may bring an escort or a representative on your behalf, but they may not take an active part in the proceedings.
